Good Morning Meredith. These are called "Pan Am" Chairs. And everything I know about them, I learned from the 1stDibs Website. Here's the basic information from one of those pages: These chairs were designed for Pan Am, or the "Pan American World Airways". The wire structure is inspired by the Pan Am logo.
