Jen, do you have an email address to which I can shoot an email/photo? I do have a photo of the inside of the dresser that might help answer your "drawer runner" question. But yes, everything works perfectly and smoothly. We don't let things, out of our Shop, unless they are great. And yes, each dresser can support a lot of weight. These pieces were built to last. What are the drawer runner? Do the drawers all open and close smoothly? How sturdy are the drawers? Could they support a little bit of weight?
